Marine Water Chillers
Operational Principles of the Marine Chiller System
Our central chilled water air-conditioning system is designed for yachts, commercial vessels, and other marine environments requiring efficient and silent climate control.
The system consists of a central cooling unit—typically installed in the engine room or auxiliary equipment space—and multiple fan coil units (fancoils) connected through insulated piping or flexible hoses.
In cooling mode, chilled water produced by the central unit is circulated by high-efficiency pumps to the fancoils located in each cabin. The fancoil fans transfer the cooling capacity to the cabin air, maintaining a comfortable environment. As the water absorbs heat, it returns slightly warmer to the central unit, where it is re-cooled for continuous circulation.
In heating mode, the built-in four-way reversing valve changes the direction of the refrigerant flow. This enables the system to transfer heat—normally discharged into the seawater during cooling—back into the circulating water loop, efficiently heating the cabins without additional energy demand.
Each fancoil and the main chiller operate independently, with separate electronic controllers for individual temperature and mode selection.
Every chiller unit is factory-tested, pre-charged with refrigerant, and quality-certified for leak-free and reliable operation before shipment.

Multiple-Stage Chillers: NHM / NHD / NHT / NHQ Series
Our multi-stage chiller series—NHM (Mono), NHD (Twin), NHT (Triple), and NHQ (Quadro)—is specifically designed for medium to large yachts and vessels that require ultra-quiet operation and minimal cabin equipment footprint.
Each unit includes independent compressors and cooling circuits, providing redundancy, energy efficiency, and smooth load distribution.
Standard single-stage units are available in capacities from 30,000 BTU to 155,000 BTU, with larger custom configurations upon request.
